Success in Swimathon

Thanks once again to the efforts of SLL staff, its centres and our fantastic customers, we have managed to raise a staggering £10,756 in this year’s Swimathon, more that £2,000 higher than last year’s total.
The charity event was run across 3 SLL pools: at Flitwick, Hartham and Stevenage Swimming Centre. Both Flitwick and Hartham raised over £3,000 whilst Stevenage Swimming Centre raised over £4,500, the 7th highest total of all pools in the Anglia region and 47th in the UK.
The money raised goes to Marie Curie Cancer Cure.
